In 2023, the average price of a bicycle sold in France was 970 euros. This figure is expected to grow in the coming years, reaching 1,100 euros by 2029. Aside from inflation, one of the main drivers of the rising average price of bicycles is the increasing popularity of e-bikes. E-bikes tend to be significantly more expensive than conventional bikes, and their increasing market share is reflected in the growing average prices.
