*The scoring model is based on 4 pillars:

-Hospital recommendations from medical experts (40%),

-Hospital quality metrics (37.5%),

-Existing patient satisfaction data (17.5%)

-PROMs implementation survey by ��ƽ�� (5%).

These rankings are only comparable for hospitals within the same country because different sources for patient experience and hospital quality metrics were examined in each country, and given the complexity of the various data sources, it was not possible to harmonize this data. For the same reason, cross-country comparisons of the raw values of the scores are also not possible (example: a score of 90 in country A does not necessarily mean that this hospital is better than a hospital with a score of 87 in country B).

According to a ranking by ��ƽ�� and Newsweek, the best hospital in the United States is the * in Rochester, Minnesota. Moreover, the * was also ranked as the best hospital in the world, among over 50,000 hospitals in 30 countries.

* in Ohio and the *** Hospital in Maryland were ranked as second and third best respectively in the U.S., while they were second and forth best respectively in the World.
