According to a 2024 survey conducted in the United States, 15.5 percent of male online dating service users stated that they frequently experienced stress or anxiety related to their use of dating apps, compared to 8.7 percent of female users. Overall, 40.5 percent of women who used dating apps said they occasionally experienced stress or anxiety related to their usage of these platforms.
