* The State Secretariat for Economic Affairs (SECO) calculates the unemployment rate based on the unemployed persons registered in the regional employment centers on the reference date in relation to the labor force according to the 3-year pooling from 2018 to 2020Â of the structural survey data on the working life of the population. Registered unemployed persons are persons who are registered with a regional employment center, do not have a job and can be placed immediately. It is irrelevant whether these persons receive unemployment benefits or not.
