As of 2023, almost half of the European Union's (EU) population aged between 25 and 64 years, stated using the internet to obtain information about public services, benefits, entitlements, laws, and opening hours of certain institutions within the last 12 months. Overall, around 45 percent of individuals across all age groups stated doing so.
