American alcohol consumers aged 18 to 34 years-old were the only group that had reduced their drinking frequency between 2001 and 2023. Sixty-one percent claimed to not have had a drink in the previous seven days during the 2021 to 2023 survey period compared to ** percent in the 2001 to 2003 period.
