According to a survey conducted in October 2024, close to ** percent of employed persons in Japan who worked remotely did so at least three days a week. Respondents expressed their desire to do telework more frequently in the future, with around ** percent saying they wished to work remotely at least three days weekly and almost * being in favor of teleworking every day of a five-day work week.
