This question was phrased by the source as follows: "A/An [insert local terminology for ATM/debit card] is a card connected to an account at a financial institution that allows you to withdraw money, and the money is taken out of THAT ACCOUNT right away. Do you, personally, have a/an [insert local terminology for ATM/debit card]? Yes or no?"

According to a three-year survey, *** out of five Colombians owned a debit card in 2021 with less than ** percent using one. The difference between ownership and usage was roughly ** percentage points in 2021, although this difference did decline when compared to 2017. The report adds that men were more likely than women to own such a payment card in the South American country.
