Among people, who held a Deutschlandticket in July 2023, ** percent had at some point in the previous months cancelled their Deutschlandticket subscription and then resubscribed. The share of ticket holders who had interrupted their subscription at some point was highest among new public transport users, where nearly one in five had done so. While some Deutschlandticket users only buy the ticket intermittently and cancel the subscription once it is no longer needed, those who already had a subscription ticket before the introduction of the Deutschlandticket are least likely to do so.
