Nationally Determined Contributions, or NDC is a country's self-defined climate goals, and corresponding action plans to achieve these goals under the Paris Agreement.Â

Share of target emissions compared to business as usual MENA 2023, by country
In 2019, Saudi Arabia comprised ** percent of metric tons of carbon dioxide emissions among eight countries in the Middle East and North Africa. At its current levels, this share will increase to ** percent of metric tons of carbon dioxide equivalent by 2030. However, Saudi Arabia as part of the Paris Agreement has set NDC targets which would see its' emissions decrease, and comprise ** percent of the region's total metric tons of carbon dioxide equivalent target emissions by 2030.
