Domestic target refers to the evaluation of achievable emission reduction routes within each country. This assessment aims to determine if the set targets or policies are progressing adequately towards complete decarbonization, aligning with the 1.5°C warming threshold.Â
Fair share target rating system relies on determining a country's total contribution required to ensure a fair implementation of the Paris Agreement. This assessment is complemented by the country's own analysis to address any data discrepancies.Â
Nationally Determined Contributions, or NDC is a country's self-defined climate goals, and corresponding action plans to achieve these goals under the Paris Agreement.Â
