During a 2023 survey, nearly half of respondents among Western physical security professionals reported being familiar with green and low carbon initiatives for the security industry. This share amounted to almost ** percent for Asian physical security professionals. In addition, ** percent of Asian respondents had already implemented sustainability concepts in their business, while only ** percent of Western respondents mentioned doing so. On the other hand, ** percent of Asian and Western respondents alike claimed not being familiar with sustainability initiatives for the security industry.
