The Eurochambres business confidence index measures the difference between the share of positive and negative responses to the question of how national chamber of commerce members perceive their economic situation in the coming year. The index is calculated as the percentage of 鈥淚ncrease鈥 minus the percentage of 鈥淒ecrease鈥, all divided by the percentage of 鈥淐onstant鈥.聽
