The country in Europe which has the greatest difference between its' citizens perception of China and Chinese citizens' perception of the country was Sweden, with ** percent of Swedes perceiving China negatively, while only ** percent of Chinese respondents percieved Sweden negatively. On the other hand, the UK was the European country with the smallest difference in opinion with China, as ** percent of UK respondents had a negative view of China, only ** percent more than the ** percent of Chinese respondents who view the UK negatively. In all cases, European respondents evaluated China more negatively than Chinese respondents evaluated Europe.Â
