Public support for carbon pricing as a climate change mitigation policy varied considerably across countries around the world. According to a survey in 2022, most of the countries in the Asia-Pacific region were in support of such mitigation policy, with support rates of more than ** percent in most cases. On the other hand, European countries reported the lowest support rates, with only ** percent of the respondents in Germany and Poland in favor of the policy.
