The number of smartphones shipped into Central and Eastern European (CEE) countries, including Belarus, Russia, and Ukraine, dropped by ** percent in 2022 due to the impact of the Russia-Ukraine war and the subsequent exodus of several Western vendors from the Russian market. The fastest-growing CEE smartphone market in terms of unit shipments was Serbia, with an over 70-percent growth compared to the previous year.
