The data represents respondents who had not cycled in the previous 12 months responding to the question "How likely are you to ride a bicycle in the future?".
*For the 2022 edition of the survey, a total of 15,871 adults living in the United States were surveyed. The survey was carried out in English.
Survey results were weighted for age, gender, region, income, and race and ethnicity to correspond to the 2021 population estimates of the U.S. Census Bureau's American Community Survey.

According to a 2022 survey, around ** percent of U.S. Americans, who have not cycled in the past 12 months, are likely or very likely to cycle in the future. Meanwhile, a similar proportion of respondents reported being very unlikely to cycle in the future.
