In Switzerland, online stores selling leather goods and shoes were the ones sharing most information about sustainability, a 2022 study showed. ** percent of these stores have information on sustainability goals and ** percent of them published sustainability reports online, whereas none of them offered carbon offsetting transport or purchase options.
In turn, ** percent of food and beverages and clothing online stores partnered with couriers offering transport services with carbon compensation.
