In order to meet science-based targets established by the UN, Otto Group has committed to significantly reduce their carbon footprint by 2025. The company is more than half-way to reach the target regarding renewable electricity use at German locations, while more has to be done internationally. As of 2023, Otto reduced carbon dioxide emissions by ** percent, with the ambitious goal to cut down emissions by ** percent by 2025.
