According to a survey on over-the-top (OTT) video service usage conducted in South Korea in May 2023, close to ** percent of male respondents stated that they used YouTube video recommendations or reviews to discover new content they wanted to watch. The same was true for around **** percent of women in the survey. A similar share of female respondents, at **** percent, also found content by exploring the service's platform.
