All figures stem from either the��or the��. Both use figures submitted by the country's central bank to either or both sources.

2022 figures and beyond - release date November 2023 and later - made significant strides in reporting quality, sometimes causing significant breaks in methodology in individual countries. ��ƽ�� sometimes still had to calculate figures, however, as card figures were split between non-remote and remote use cases, or credit cards were not always clearly defined.��

Citation formats

The value of payments made with credit cards in Canada grew by over **** percent between 2024 and 2025. This indicated a continued growth trend compared to the previous year. Credit cards ranked as the country's most popular payment method for e-commerce, but its market share did decline since 2019.
