The share of European LGBTI respondents agreeing that their government effectively combats prejudice and discrimination against homosexual, transgender, and intersex people was at its highest in Malta, Luxembourg, and Ireland in 2019. Poland, Hungary, and Italy scored the lowest among European countries, with only **** percent of respondents in Poland agreeing with the statement. On average, of EU respondents did not think their domestic government was doing enough to combat homophobia and other prejudices towards the LGBTI community.
