The total energy supply is one of the most important aggregate of the energy balance. For the total of all energy products this is the total energy delivered/consumed in a country excluding deliveries to international aviation and international marine bunkers. In 2023, in Romania the total energy supply reached over 30.6 million metric tons of oil equivalent. Oil and petroleum products were the most used type of fuel in 2023 in Romania, accounting for 35.9 percent or 11 million metric tons of oil equivalent.
