In 2024, Romania imported energy products worth over 11.2 billion U.S. dollars. The biggest value of imports was from Kazakhstan, nearly 2.7 billion U.S. dollars. In 2022 it was the Russian Federation - five billion U.S. dollars, however, in 2024, Romania didn't import directly energy products from Russia.
