Over a of Spanish respondents to a February 2023 survey were unwilling to make an additional financial effort to purchase a hybrid or electric vehicle instead of a diesel or petrol car. Slightly more respondents were willing to make a financial effort of over 30 additional percent of the purchase for a hybrid vehicles than for an electric vehicle. However, over a ** of consumers would pay an additional 10 to 30 percent to purchase an electric vehicle, a share **** percentage points higher than for hybrid vehicles.
