Respondents represent organizations of 5,000 employees or more across different industries in 12 countries. More than 50 board directors were interviewed in each market, which included the United States, Canada, United Kingdom (UK), France, Germany, Italy, Spain, Australia, Singapore, Japan, Brazil, and Mexico.

Share of global firms prioritizing cybersecurity 2023, by country
A 2023 survey of board members of worldwide organizations found that Japanese companies prioritized cybersecurity more than those in other countries, with ** percent of surveyed board members stating it. France and Australia ranked second, with ** percent. Board members in companies in the United States were less likely to believe that cybersecurity is a priority in their company.
