More than 50 board directors were interviewed in each market, which included the United States, Canada, United Kingdom (UK), France, Germany, Italy, Spain, Australia, Singapore, Japan, Brazil, and Mexico.

Share of board members making cybersecurity decisions 2023, by country
A 2023 survey among board members of worldwide organizations found that boards of Australian companies were the most comfortable making decisions about cybersecurity issues affecting the organization, with ** percent of surveyed board members stating it. Canada ranked second, with ** percent. On the other hand, board members in companies in the United Kingdom were less comfortable making cybersecurity-related decisions affecting their company.
