In a 2022 survey of Chief Information Security Officers (CISO) in Canada, ** percent stated that employees in their organizations were aware of their role in protecting the organization against cyber threats. This figure increased almost twice compared to 2021, making employees in Canada the most aware of their role when compared to the other markets. Australia ranked second, with ** percent of survey respondents making such a statement. Overall, the global average of employees' understanding of their role in combating cyber incidents, according to CISOs, was ** percent as of 2022.
