In 2022, ** percent of CIOs and CMIOs of the top health systems in the United States reported risks to patient data, security, and privacy was their biggest concern of the newly created TEFCA (Trusted Exchange Framework and Common Agreement). Around a quarter of respondents said that their main concern was the increased burden on engineering and IT teams.
TEFCA was created with the objective to form a universality for interoperability in healthcare across the United States.
