As of 2022, ** percent of CIOs and CMIOs of the top health systems in the United States reported that while they were supportive of TEFCA (Trusted Exchange Framework and Common Agreement), they felt it needed more data guardrails and protections. A further third of respondents said they were very supportive of TEFCA's goals.
TEFCA was created with the objective to form a universality for interoperability in healthcare across the United States.
