Overwatch 2 is a team-based online shooter video game published by Blizzard Entertainment in October 2022. The game is the free-to-play successor to the popular hero shooter Overwatch (2016) and supports cross-platform play across all major consoles and PC. Overwatch 2 events on the video streaming service Twitch were watched for a combined 12.8 million hours in September 2025.
