The source surveyed more than 600 board members from organizations of 5,000 employees or more across different industries in 12 countries. 50 board directors were interviewed in each market, which included the United States U.S., Canada, UK, France, Germany, Italy, Spain, Australia, Singapore, Japan, Brazil and Mexico.

Global firms at risk of material cyberattack as per board members 2023, by country
According to a 2023 survey among board members of worldwide organizations, approximately 95 percent of companies in Canada were at risk of a material cyberattack. The majority of board members in Singapore, 89 percent, thought their companies were at such risk within the following 12 months. Japanese companies ranked third, with 84 percent of board members seeing a risk of a material cyber attack in the next year.
