The business tendency indicator is a composite indicator. It is calculated as the arithmetic average of the balance of responses to monthly survey questions on the enterprise's current and expected economic situation. It takes values from -100 to +100, with values below zero being evaluated as negative (indicating worse economic conditions) and above zero as positive (indicating good economic conditions). An indicator taking a value equal to zero shows a situation where the economic situation does not change.

In December 2024, negative assessments of the economy persist in most of the presented areas. The most pessimistic assessments were formulated by those operating in the manufacturing industry. Companies from the information and communication and financial and insurance industries made the least pessimistic evaluation.
