A poll conducted in October 2022 found that at least half of voters in all age brackets above 430 years considered violent crime to be very important when casting their vote in the 2022 midterm election. Among the youngest voters (18-29 years), just below half reported violent crime to be a very important issue. The election was held on November 8, 2022.
