As of October 2022, about half of voters who identify with the Republican party said they would be casting their ballot in the 2022 midterm elections in person on election day. Comparatively, a quarter of Democrat-affiliated voters said the same thing.

The midterm elections were held on Tuesday, November 8, 2022. All *** seats in the House of Representatives and ** of the 100 seats in the Senate were contested.
