According to the source, the data represents standard cubic meters (measured at 15°C and 1,013 mbar) as far as possible. Since the data is derived directly from metric tons of oil equivalent using an average conversion factor, it does not necessarily equate with gas volumes expressed in specific national terms.
Norway is by far the largest producer of natural gas in Europe. In 2024, Norway extracted  billion cubic meters worth of the fossil fuel. In comparison, Germany extracted around **** billion cubic meters worth of natural gas the same year.
