Out of the total 1.49 million unemployed people in Mexico in the first quarter of 2025, over 600 thousand were 20 to 29 years old, the largest age group among those out of work. Another 340,250 unemployed individuals were between 30 and 39 years old. Furthermore, approximately 88 percent of Mexican unemployed people had graduated from high school or from a higher educational level.
