In 2022, a survey conducted in selected African countries found that most respondents thought carbonated drink manufacturers should introduce eco-friendly packaging. The question was related to Sprite's new PET bottles, and respondents were asked if other manufacturers should follow the example. In Kenya, ** percent of the surveyed population stated that other soft drink brands should definitely do the same.
