In 2022, a survey was conducted in selected African countries about beer brand preferences between Heineken and Guinness. The survey showed that Heineken was the favorite brand, as approximately ** percent of all survey respondents preferred it to Guinness. The difference was wider in certain African countries. For example, in South Africa, ** percent of the people preferred Heineken compared to ** percent who liked Guinness. Conversely, in Uganda, ** percent of respondents preferred Guinness, whereas ** percent would rather drink Heineken.
