The number of air passengers traveling on domestic lines fluctuated in Turkey from 2008 to 2023. In 2018, the record number of passengers was recorded at almost *** million. Due to restrictions introduced because of the coronavirus (COVID-19) pandemic, the number of passengers showed a serious decline in 2020. However, in the subsequent years, this figure rebounded again and reached **** million passengers in 2023.
