A survey conducted among journalists in the United States in March 2022 found that the majority (42 percent) of respondents used the words 'struggling' or 'chaos' to describe the news industry these days. Just two percent described the industry as 'resilient' or 'surviving', with journalists more likely to feel it was biased, difficult, and inaccurate.
