Cancer is estimated to be the cause of around *** deaths in China in 2021, making it a major cause of death among the country's citizens and a substantial public health challenge. The death rate varied significantly between different types of cancer. With a death rate of ** per 100,000 people, lung cancer was by far the most deadly among China's urban population, followed by liver cancer and stomach cancer.
