In 2024, the Chinese Center for Drug Evaluation of the National Medical Products Administration (NMPA)Â approved Investigational New Drug (IND) applications of chemical drugs. More than ** percent of all approvals were granted to antineoplastic drugs. A considerable number of drugs treating skin diseases, Ear, Nose and Throat (ENT) disorders, circulatory diseases, and digestive system conditions were also approved for general use.
