According to a survey during the second quarter of 2025, 27.6 percent of online audiences in Mexico stated that WhatsApp was their favorite social media platform, a network with a usage reach of 91.4 percent among the online population. Facebook followed as the social platform of choice for around 26.5 percent of the respondents, in addition to being the most used network in the country. With a significant growth of the platform throughout Latin America, 21.6 percent of Mexican internet users said that TikTok was their favorite platform.
