The survey participants were divided as following: 54 percent from Europe, 28 percent from North America, six percent from Asia, 3.2 percent from Oceania, 2.7 percent from South America, while 4.8 percent of respondents decided not to disclose their location.

According to a survey conducted between October and November 2021, 15 percent of respondents found mobile privacy solutions too difficult to install and maintain, and 12 percent of the surveyed online users reported not even knowing where to look for them. By comparison, approximately 17 percent of respondents expected these types of tools to be already installed on their mobile devices. Additionally, around 17 percent of respondents reported having difficulties in choosing the right mobile safety tool or service.
