Among Canadians over the age of 18 years, Netflix was the most used subscription video-on-demand (SVOD) service as of April 2024. Around three in four Canadians were using the platform in the six months prior to the survey. The second most popular SVOD service was Amazon Prime Video, reportedly watched by ** percent of Canadians interviewed. Paramount+, which entered the market recently, received a penetration rate of ** percent.
