According to a survey carried out in November 2021 among internet users in selected global markets, more than **** in 10 respondents aged between 16 and 24 years stated that they were familiar with the right to be forgotten (RTBF) online. Respondents aged 55 years and older were the least familiar with the right to be forgotten online, with only in 10 reporting being aware of the concept. The right to be forgotten identifies the user's right to have private information concerning them removed from online search results and online platforms across the internet.
