As of January 2022, the majority of online adults in the United States were not aware of streaming platform Netflix purchasing a gaming studio to increase its in-app gaming options. Overall, 12 percent of respondents aged 18 to 34 years had heard a lot about this but awareness was generally low across all age groups. Netflix's foray into mobile gaming has only been met with modest success so far.
