Surveys conducted in Hong Kong before the Lunar New Year revealed that fewer respondents, around ** percent, were planning to greet their family and friends in person during the Spring Festival of 2025, compared to ** percent in the previous year. Sending New Year's wishes by message was the second most acceptable method both in 2024 and 2025.
