At the beginning of 2022, nearly **** out of five people in France considered that no matter what laws were adopted, the problems of everyday life were not solved. Additionally, nearly quarters believed that it was more useful to take action on a daily basis for what they believe than voting for elected officials.
These two elements could help to better understand the increasing abstention rates recorded in France in recent years.
